An Introduction to Nyaya Chakra

Nyaya Chakra is a cycle yatra that propagates the core vision of Trijus – that every person, regardless of their financial or social capital, deserves ethical & competent legal representation – all over India. The first phase of this Yatra begins at Delhi on 29th Nov 2025 and culminates at the iconic Gandhi Sevagram Ashram at Sevagram (Wardha, Maharashtra) on 1st Jan 2026.

As we pedal from one district court to another while passing through the cities, towns and villages falling on the 1300km route, we will meet various stakeholders of our criminal justice system, listen to their stories, document the gaps they point out (or we discover), and connect with organizations working in the social justice space.

Through this journey, Trijus aims to build a pan-India network of public-spirited advocates, both emerging (entry level) and experienced (mentor level) who believe that justice must be ethical, empathic, and affordable.

Nyaya Chakra is not just about awareness, it’s about awakening. Each district, each conversation, each kilometre is a step toward rebuilding trust in the criminal justice system.

Because for any framework to be effective, it has to have a context, and to understand context, one must first immerse in it. And immersion is immersion in its truest sense when done slowly, hence the pedal. The cycle is both our metaphor and our method: steady, human, circular, and unstoppable.
